Why ride a motorcycle to Alaska?

This all started 35 years ago when I got my first bike. I was never able to get motorcycles out of my system. Most of my riding has been in Colorado and I enjoy both street and dirt riding. Riding to Alaska is one of those fantasy trips I've been talking about for years. The constraints of job, family, and finances are finally cooperating. If you are not a motorcycle rider it will be hard for me to convince you that this is an exciting adventure worth the time and the effort. Perhaps you will understand a little more by following this blog as I prepare for the ride and share the experience during the trip.
